Job Title: Sales Engineer
Location: Rockford, IL
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design/engineer skids sub-systems (i.e., chemical feed pumps kids, pump skids, etc.) for rental projects.
• Runs design programs ROSA, Winflows, Advisor, etc. as needed for projects.
• Creates CAD drawings (2D and 3D), specifies equipment and develops bill of materials.
• Works with outside supply chain partners and project manages design/build projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
B. S. in Engineering, Chemical, Civil, or Mechanical discipline plus a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a water related industry.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL:
Knowledge of sales skills, customer service, customer relationships, produce knowledge, knowledge of water treatment design principles and processes, computer skills, ability to read blueprints. Must have water chemistry knowledge, knowledge of installation, start-up, operations and maintenance experience. Programming and operation experience preferred.
Good communication and organization skills, knowledge and ability to determine best processes to meet customer requirements, technical aptitude for equipment installation, start-up, trouble shooting, and experience to determine pricing requirements.
Advanced experience in controls programming and trouble shooting. Personal computer, Microsoft Office 2010, AutoCad, Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Project and QuickBooks,
Experience with GE Winflows, ROSA, AVISTA, Pump Curves, Hewlett Packard HP Solid Designer; Pro-E CAD software; Solid Works CAD, software a plus.
